This morning Jonathan enjoyed Zip the Monkey flying over him and occasionally coming in for a tickle-landing. He has started to interact with his toys and reaches for them. When he sees Zip for the first time each day he smiles.

Mmmm... frog legs! Here Jonathan is with his toy froggie from Grandma B. Tonight he played with his toys and amused himself while I fixed dinner and sang to him from the kitchen. Currently, his favorite song is "Little Skunk." It makes him smile. His Dad sings much cooler songs. Sometimes both Mom and Dad sing together. Tonight our duet was selections from Dr. Hook.

This is from a few days ago. The point is "Mom dresses Jonathan in silly things..." the slippers are cute from Abby, but mostly, I just want him to stay warm. Spring is definitely coming though! Today we went outside and sat in the sunshine for the first time. Sophie and Athena tried hunting squirrels. Jonathan enjoyed listening to the cheerful birds, angry squirrels, barking dogs, and ringing church bells. I look forward to more time outside with him as he grows up.
