I was looking at these baby ultrasound pages. Today we're going to St. Louis Mills, and I'm going to pick out some scrapbooking papers for our ultrasound images. I need to put them somewhere safe, and I'm excited about picking out the album.
I thought I could get a little inspiration from looking at online examples, but I found these pages completely uninspiring. Seriously, do you really want to compare the 40 weeks in your womb to a prison term?
Hopefully I'll be able to do better. At least, I'll take it as my challenge.

Which would you like Sis?

Hi Candice! Here are some of the invitations so far. I'd like you to pick the one you like most for yourself. You can also tell me which ones you like for different people or if there are any you dislike. Almost every card is unique. But I could replicate a pattern if there's a style you enjoy most. :) Just let me know. I've had fun making them.
P.S. Anyone welcome to comment also. :)

A day spent waiting...
Waiting for maintenance people from Quadrangle Housing is like waiting for Jesus or Godot -- they never show up. There is a hole in our kitchen that continues to expand each day, water dripping in the evenings when the neighbors wash their dishes. And we're still patiently waiting for the washer and dryer we were promised 6 years ago and again 3 months ago when we resigned our lease... maybe on the day we move, they'll be there. Well, apartment fun aside, I've been having a good time working on pictures of the cats. It's nice to play with scrapbooking again. It's been a long time since I've exercised that creative muscle.

Marley curled up in a blanket.
Here I'm playing with a blocked layout and bright color.

Figaro -- I wanted it to seem wild and free. This was Figaro's last night. I let him sit outside with me as long as he wanted. There were times when he seemed fine and then times he would curl up and not want to move. It's almost been a year; J.D. and I still really miss him.

Both of the trouble-makers...
This is really atypical, but I was playing around. I usually never crop pictures like this or use stickers as the primary decoration. This page seems to be what Marley and Figaro would experience if they went out clubbing or something. (Also, I have no idea what that weird spot is, it's not on the original, but I'm too lazy right now to rescan it).

Sweet Marley.
My typical style: different patterns, ribbons, a flower, and a hidden note on the lower left.

Mars-- I really love the crazy picture of him. Even his "angel" picture looks a little devilish now, from his little fang that tends to stick out. As for the design here, again tending toward what's called "shabby chic," although my version of it here is more uniform in layout.
