Taylor Family

John and Connie came to see us recently. J.D. and John worked on a lot of projects around the house. Connie and I had afternoon tea together. J.D. and I were even able to slip away for dinner out. And we all celebrated J.D.'s 32nd birthday. We really had a great time.

Connie and Jonathan on the front porch by the hanging baskets John gave me.

Reading stories and having fun with Grandma.

May 19, 2010-- Happy Birthday J.D.!

Somewhere there's a picture of me on the other side of this standoff.

Happy little boy ready to go.

Hugs from Grandpa.

Playing pillow fort.

Self-medicated; Jonathan likes giving himself vitamin D.

So serious looking out the window at the trees.

A little blue.

UH OH! J.D. and Jonathan similarly react.
--What was Mama doing? I'll never tell.

After bath time in his robe.
Jonathan prefers his bath with lots of bubbles!

Happy Mother's Day! 5/9/10
Love you Grandma Baker and Grandma Taylor!
One of my favorite times is at night when we're quiet, right before bed.
Jonathan studies and plays with my fingers, and I admire him.

Hall of Shame

I'm looking for sympathy and also sharing a possible laugh for those that can appreciate all that's wrong here:

"The Matrix trilogy has caused more people to consider the nature of reality than have ever done."

"The passage of time has shown the Matrix trilogy to have had a greater effect on the complexitites of philosophy than such stories as Gilgamesh or the legends of the Olympian gods."

Really? I guess that lesson on absolutes and grand claims did not stick.

Crawfishapalooza!

I'm not sure about this. Where are we?

Every year our friends Paul and Jessica have a great Crawfish cookout. This year Jonathan was in attendance as one of the guests of honor.

You're eating my kind?! How dare you.

Is that you George?
