Today we attended the Missouri Botanical Garden Japanese Festival. We couldn't stay long, but we did get to see the smashing of the Kagamawari, a barrel of sake, to be shared by everyone. We also saw the Bonsai and Ikebana displays, the pulling of a small dashi, and the Omikoshi Procession, carrying the rice god.
