Don't read if you're sensitive

Wow, Ahmadinejad sounds a lot like Bill O'Reilly trying to sound like black people!

"Motherf**ker, I want some more iced tea!"

Story: O'Reilly ate at Sylvia's in New York. He was amazed: “I couldn't get over the fact that there was no difference between Sylvia’s restaurant and any other restaurant in New York City. I mean, it was exactly the same, even though it’s run by blacks, primarily black patronship.” And in a discussion with NPR about his experience he said: “There wasn't one person in Sylvia’s who was screaming, ‘M-Fer, I want more iced tea.’ You know, I mean, everybody was — it was like going into an Italian restaurant in an all-white suburb in the sense of people were sitting there, and they were ordering and having fun. And there wasn't any kind of craziness at all.”

On yet another note, the reference to NPR got me thinking about this audio clip that we heard Friday. Robert Siegel challenges what White House counselor Ed Gillespie claims is the content of the SCHIP bill and the reason Bush vetoed it. (The end where Siegel comes on with the actual wording in the bill is really great).

Finally, this clip of the Daily Show on SCHIP is entertaining, especially the follow-up report from 19th century London.
