A dream

Last night I saw the Universe flying apart. My dream opened with these words in red block text with the stars as a background:

ACCELERATING UNIVERSE

The words themselves divided unequally:


A .... C ... C .... E ... L .... E .... R A

....... T I N G .... U N I V ...

..................... ............... ....... .... E ... R S E........


Then I watched as the stars enacted what the words had. Seemingly stable points of light quivered and then dashed from their places. They ran like rain drops away from the event-horizon. The sky grew dark as all the stars disappeared. It was terrifying but also very beautiful. A rare, sublime dream.
