Baby Names

"Heavenly Creatures
Religious or angelic names are no longer restricted to Old or New Testament Biblical names these days. Instead, new creations like Nevaeh (Heaven spelled backwards) has zipped up to #31 on the Social Security Administration's list of popular names. Also flying high: Heaven, Grace, Faith, Trinity, Genesis, Miracle, and Messiah."

Seriously, who would name their kid "Messiah"-- I mean come on, there's a ready-made complex!

I saw that too!!!! Talk about expectations.

That and Salem. Seriously. Salem. For a girl!!!

Salem being short for Jerusalem, you know.

I also recently came across Bookie (a girl in a NY Times article about Sukkot), Trillity (another girl), and there was one more, but I can't remember it right now. I'll remember and then I'll post it.

I'll call you later!

Oh, yeah I just remembered. Cleveland. I guess it could be worse. They could have named their kid Grover.
